Bitumen 60/70
The grade 60/70 bitumen means the penetration value is in the range 60 to 70 at standard test conditions. It is applicable for the production of asphalt pavements, construction and maintenance of roads. It is also used in spraying and chip applications. Petroleum grade bitumen, produced from fractional distillation of crude oil and vacuum residue (short residue) feedstock. It has a thermoplastic property causing the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at lower temperatures. This excellent temperature-viscosity relationship is significant for rheology, adhesion, durability.
